Survive or Die!

Will the world be the same tomorrow as when you go to bed tonight? Nobody knows... The tragedy of 09/11/2001 proves that to all of us, that we don't know what could happen in our city even tomorrow. Will you be prepared if it happens in your city? The answer is, you can never be prepared enough. Well, unless you have an underground shelter that is bomb proof and radiation proof with enough food, air, water, and power, to last you the rest of your life.

I'm thinking probably the government may have something of this caliber, but certainly not the public like you and me. But all is not lost... The truth is, the more prepared you are, the better your chances of survival. You don't have to run out and buy a gas mask, generator, and solar panels. Start small and build your kit as you go.

First-Aid is the very first thing that you should start with... If you or someone you love gets hurt, there may be no hospitals or pharmacy to help you. Now is the time to prepare, so buy a duffelbag or maybe a suitcase if you choose. Then start filling it with first aid items. I have smaller bags that I use to hold smaller supplies. Band-aids, smelling salts, gauze, ect.
